Inspired variously by 1) an idyllic Catskill Mountain songwriting retreat featuring Rhett Miller of Old 97's, Charles Thompson (aka Frank Black/Black Francis of the Pixies), and Rachael Yamagata 2) the tagline of Eef Barzelay's "A Life in Song" podcast ("Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone deserves a song"), and 3) Barzelay's own Clem Snide lyrics, "A Song for Everyone" is a celebration of anyone who has been brave enough to bring art into the world, and "to make something where there was none."
